L’Oréal Announces Top Startups for 2025 Beauty Tech Grand Finale in Singapore: L’Oréal has officially announced the 10 startups that will head to Singapore for the Grand Finale of the 2025 SAPMENA Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program, the biggest Beauty Tech open innovation competition of its kind. The event, scheduled for November 7, 2025, will determine which innovators secure a L’Oréal-funded commercial pilot opportunity and a year-long mentorship program with senior executives and global partners.
Startups Advance After Rigorous Evaluation
After an extensive evaluation by industry experts, 10 startups from the South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa (SAPMENA) region emerged as finalists. Each of them offers bold, scalable, and tech-driven solutions to tackle challenges in the beauty industry.
The finalists represent the most promising innovation in AI, sustainability, digital marketing, and material science, reflecting the region’s growing reputation as a hub for creative, technology-powered solutions.
Grand Finale: A Platform for Global Exposure
During the finale, the teams will pitch to a distinguished panel of judges from L’Oréal, Google, Meta, and Veros Ventures. Winners will gain the opportunity to collaborate with one of L’Oréal’s 37 international brands, gain potential exposure across 35 markets, and receive mentorship from senior executives throughout the year.

- Newera Bio (Australia): Develops bio-based dyes and binders for cosmetics and textiles, cutting costs and resource use while improving performance.
- Springboards (Australia): An AI-powered cloud platform that accelerates creativity with research, ideation, and campaign validation tools.
- Sravathi AI (India): A silico chemistry AI platform that designs advanced pharma solutions using molecular modeling and chemical engineering.
- Without (India): A material science startup that transforms unrecyclable waste into high-quality, recyclable materials, supporting a circular economy.
- Wubble.ai (Singapore): The world’s first enterprise-grade AI solution for generating royalty-free, personalized music in seconds.

About the Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program
The Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program is the largest open innovation competition of its geographical scale. It is designed to discover, support, and nurture promising startups from Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, the UAE, and Vietnam.
Startups compete under five challenge themes: Consumer Experience, Content & Media, New Commerce, Tech for Good, and Science for Beauty. Winners from four regional finals—Middle East, India, Australia & New Zealand, and Southeast Asia—advance to the SAPMENA Grand Finale.
The top three winners in Singapore will secure L’Oréal-funded commercial pilots and mentorship programs with senior executives. Startups that succeed in SAPMENA may gain access to L’Oréal’s global network, making the region a launchpad for global expansion and partnerships.
