ISNA Announces 61st Annual Convention in Dallas, Texas. The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) has announced its 61st Annual Convention, set to take place at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, from August 30 to September 2, 2024. This year’s theme, “The Muslim American: Forging Faith & Action,” highlights the unity, faith, and purpose that define the Muslim American community.

The convention will feature an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers. These thought leaders will engage attendees in enlightening discussions and provide inspirational insights. The theme draws inspiration from the Quranic verse Al-Kahf (18:30), which emphasizes the importance of belief and righteous actions.

In addition to the rich program of talks and discussions, the convention will also offer a variety of entertainment options. Attendees can look forward to a comedy show by Preacher Moss, musical performances by Alman Nusrat, Umer Zaman, Najam Sheraz, and a qawwali ensemble by Riyaaz Qawwali.

ISNA has a history of attracting prominent dignitaries to its conventions. In the past, the event has been addressed by figures such as President Jimmy Carter, President Barack Obama, and former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. This year’s event is expected to continue that tradition of high-profile engagement.

Standard adult admission for the convention starts at $89, and childcare services are available from $70. For more information on tickets and pricing, interested individuals can visit the ISNA website.

The Executive Director of ISNA shared a message with the community, stating, “As we gather for our 61st Annual Convention, we are reminded of the words from the Holy Quran that urge us to have faith in God and do good deeds. ISNA remains committed to fostering unity, promoting faith, and encouraging positive action within the Muslim American community. We are excited to welcome all attendees to this transformative event.”

This year’s convention promises to be a significant gathering, bringing together members of the Muslim American community to explore the intersections of faith and action, and to build stronger connections within and beyond the community.
