The 17th Global Islamic Marketing Conference (GIMAC 2026) to Be Held in Alanya, Türkiye: The 17th Global Islamic Marketing Conference (GIMAC 2026) will take place on 27–28 October 2026 at Asia Beach Resort & Spa in Alanya, Türkiye, bringing together leading scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world to advance the field of Islamic marketing and the halal economy.

Building on a global legacy that began in 2011, GIMAC has evolved into a recognized international platform for dialogue on ethical business, sustainability, and innovation within Islamic markets. The 2026 edition continues this trajectory by focusing on the role of Islamic values in shaping sustainable global growth.

Organized in collaboration with key academic and industry partners including Springer, Emerald Publishing, Halal Biz, and the International Islamic Marketing Association (IIMA), the conference offers participants the opportunity to present research, engage in international networking, and contribute to high-quality academic outputs.

All submitted papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process, with selected contributions considered for publication in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed outlets, including Springer proceedings and Emerald book series.

GIMAC 2026 will be delivered in a hybrid format (in-person and online), ensuring global accessibility. Participants will benefit from continuing education credits, professional certification opportunities, and best paper awards, alongside engagement with an international network of experts.

The conference will address contemporary themes such as digital transformation, AI in business, Islamic finance, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural studies, reflecting the evolving priorities of the global halal economy.

Prof. Baker Ahmad Alserhan, Conference Chair, stated:

“GIMAC 2026 reflects the growing global relevance of Islamic marketing as a discipline that connects ethical values with real economic impact. Our objective is to bring together scholars and practitioners to advance knowledge, foster meaningful collaboration, and contribute to sustainable global development through values-driven business practices.”

Paper submissions are open until 20 September 2026, with early bird registration discounts available until 1 October 2026.

As Islamic marketing continues to evolve into a mainstream field, GIMAC 2026 aims to strengthen the link between theory and practice while fostering collaborations that generate both academic and societal value.
