Türkiye Launches Tech Visa Program to Attract Global Talent and Innovators. Türkiye has officially launched its Tech Visa Program, targeting global talent with advanced technological skills and innovative business models to strengthen the country’s growing tech ecosystem. The program was introduced at a joint event featuring Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan. This initiative marks a significant milestone in Türkiye’s journey to becoming a global technology hub.

Minister Kacır emphasized that the Tech Visa Program plays a key role in positioning Türkiye as a leader in the global technology landscape. The program offers comprehensive support to accelerate the entry of tech professionals and entrepreneurs, integrating them into Türkiye’s innovation ecosystem. This initiative aims to boost the success of startups and foster growth for tech ventures, further solidifying the country’s place on the global tech map.

“By offering participants a special three-year work permit, we facilitate their transition to life and work in Türkiye,” Kacır explained. “This program enables them to explore long-term opportunities, integrate into the local community, and truly feel at home.”

The Tech Visa Program allows tech professionals and entrepreneurs to bypass administrative barriers with minimal paperwork. Participants receive expert guidance during the first six months to navigate legal, financial, and operational challenges, encouraging them to make long-term plans and establish permanent roots in Türkiye.

Minister Işıkhan highlighted that the program will not only attract international talent but also help upskill Türkiye’s local workforce. By streamlining work permit processes for startup founders, the initiative reduces bureaucratic obstacles and fosters a dynamic business environment that encourages collaboration between local and global players.

Türkiye aims to further integrate international talent into its expanding tech ecosystem through this program. With a focus on fostering global partnerships, the Tech Visa Program will play a crucial role in positioning the country as a leader in innovation and entrepreneurship.
